Hurricane Matthew Aftermath

The children of Foyer de Sion need our help! Please consider donating to our relief fund.  In October 2016, Hurricane Matthew made landfall on Haiti with heavy rain and destructive winds leveling homes and taking the lives of more than 1,000 Haitians in its path.

Amidst the chaos, Foyer de Sion weathered the storm and we are overjoyed to report that all of the children are well and accounted for. Nevertheless, the storm left its mark on Foyer, exacerbating what were once small occasional leaks in the building and causing us to run through our supplies for the month much faster than expected.

As the rainy season continues and the threat of cholera looms great, we are raising an emergency relief fund to make needed repairs and to replenish our supplies.

Any money we raise above our target will be used to buy supplies for our neighbors in Croix-des-Bouquets and for the families of our nannies who were affected in the storm. Please consider giving to the children of Foyer during this time of great need - they depend on our support.
